Dorok had the ideal childhood. His parents were well off, attentive and loving. He has caring siblings he got on well with growing up. However somewhere Dorok got lost. His expectations of life never quite matched up with reality and he was never able to accept this. He had friends and like most boys they played pranks on each other. Dorok could never quite handle being the butt of a joke or getting laughed at. As he got older he isolated himself more and more. Rather than spending his time out in the world he retreated into a world of his own design. Dismantling electronics, learning code and designing his own programs.
He found himself wandering the infonets and soon fell in with the wrong crowd. He gained a reputation as a master hacker and was paid very well by criminal elements to design programs to work their way into secure systems. Dorok’s bank account and ego grew together and he decided to enrol in a prestigious university with the hope of establishing a legitimate career. However Dorok could not escape his nature. He found in University he was still the butt of the same jokes and no matter how hard he tried women would not return his advances. At one point or another Dorok Melaskah lost all sense of perspective and decided that since the Universe wasn’t giving him what he deserved, he should take instead.
