Chapter 13: Stow Away Titan: Stray by Johnny Scribe

Andimem stirred from the fitful sleep he’d managed to fall into. He sat up and immediately regretted it. His neck sent shooting pain all up and down his spine. Apparently, he wasn’t quite used to sleeping on a hard plastic floor with only a pile of cloth to cushion himself with.

A tremor rumbled through the walls of his enclosure and a moment later Essni’s massive form strode through the door on the other side of the room. In no time at all, she had crossed the vast expanse of carpeted floor. Andimem looked up to find her looming above him, a bright smile on her face.

“Good morning sweetie!” She cooed, as her hand swept into his cage and carefully gathered him up between long fingers. Andimem’s heart pounded as he came dangerously close to talon-like fingernails, each of which was bigger than his head.

“Did you sleep okay?” Essni asked as Andimem tumbled into the center of her palm. “Probably not, huh? I’m sorry I didn’t have much in the way of bedding for you, but I’ll get you something nicer. I promise.”

Andimem became rather tongue tied as he found himself grasped in her hand and very close to her face.

“Poor little thing.” Essni sighed, stroking the top of his head with her finger. “I’m sure you’re still trying to adjust to all of this, aren’t you?”

“Y-yes, Essni… I am.” Andimem croaked, having finally found his voice.

Essni’s lips curled into a smirk and her eyes narrowed mischievously.  Her finger slid down Andimem’s cheek, roughing up his beard a bit before continuing down his torso with a surprisingly gentle touch for something so large.

“Don’t worry, Andimem.” Essni’s voice whispered as her fingers began to gently massage his body. “Everything will be all right.”

Andimem shuddered and felt himself relax into her grip, almost as if his body were obeying a command from the giant woman. Essni’s grin widened as she observed his reaction, and her fingers continued to roam across his body.

“There we go love.” Essni cooed. “Just relax.”

Andimem’s body twitched involuntary at the giant woman’s touch and Essni found herself admiring the shape of his body. It really was amazing how much they were like Titans, physically. She even noticed that Andimem reacted in the same way as a Titan man.

“Well, that explains why those two girls were always following you around.” Essni chuckled as she continued to toy with the human in her hand. She bit her lip and a low growl escaped her throat. She was somewhat surprised at the reaction she was feeling at the sight of Andimem’s naked body.

She’d always heard the rumors about titans using humans for sexual gratification, but had never really given the idea any thought. She enjoyed having a lover who was physically bigger than she was. And yet, she couldn’t deny her own arousal at the sight of Andimem writhing in the palm of her hand, succumbing to her every touch.

Curiously, she slid the pad of her finger over his erection, grinning at the way the minute organ felt against her hand. She was amused to note that human and Titan men apparently reacted in similar ways.

“Like how that feels, do you?” Essni grinned and gently rubbed the head of his penis with her forefinger. She laughed as Andimem’s back arched to meet her digit. She was sure it wasn’t a conscious act on his part. “That’s a good boy.” She cooed appreciatively.

Andimem only grunted in response.

Essni increased the pressure on the man in her hand. Not enough to hurt, of course, but the way that Andimem’s leg twitched in response told her the action was appreciated.

“Almost there, aren’t we?” She grinned, not intending to let up until she got what she wanted. It only took a few minutes more before she felt a tiny drop of wetness on her finger.

“Ooh there we are…” Essni gasped, raising her finger to her mouth and licking it. She was surprised at the salty taste. That, apparently, was one area where human and Titan men differed.

“Poor boy, you’re a mess aren’t you?” Essni asked. Before Andimem (who was still gasping in the palm of her hand) could react, she’d raised him to her lips. Her tongue darted out and swiped across his torso, cleaning the mess from his body but leaving him dripping in her saliva. It was hard to say whether it was much of an improvement.

“There we go.” Essni sighed as she lowered Andimem back into his cage. “I have to get to work, but I’ll see you in the evening. Okay? Be a good boy now.”

And she sidled out of the room without so much as a backward glance; leaving an exhausted and very confused Andimem in her wake.

*.*.*.*

Elena had spent the better part of an hour in the rafters of the ceiling of Essni’s office. Periodically, she would find herself watching the woman as she worked. It grated on Elena that the Titan could one just kidnap Andimem, steal him away from everything he knew, and then just go on with her life as if nothing had happened.

What’s worse is that there was nothing at all illegal about what Essni had done. There would be no repercussions whatsoever.  To the Titans, Andimem was just another human. They would see it as Essni having done a good thing for him. An act of charity, even. The idea made Elena’s blood boil.

Still, she knew that if there was going to be any help for Andimem, then it was going to have to come from Mihiya and herself. The other members of Andimem’s “gang” had been completely uninterested in his plight. In fact, so enamored with Essni were they, they considered it an honor for him to be taken with her. “He was always her favorite” they had replied when the women had asked them for help.

“You sure you’re ready for this?” Mihiya asked as she ambled over to where Elena was seated and lowered herself into the spot next to her. “I mean, you’ve never known what it’s like to be caged by a titan; and that’s exactly what will happen to us if we get caught. Either Essni will keep us herself or she’ll pass us off to a shelter or something.”

“It doesn’t matter.” Elena growled. “Andimem’s already in a cage. We’re the only ones who can help him. We’re the only ones who seem to want to help him.”

Mihiya nodded, although she looked a bit apprehensive.

“No time like the present.” The redhead sighed before pushing herself to her feet. Elena was only a half-step behind her.

They traveled along the dust covered rafters of Essni’s office until the reached a decorative lattice hung on one of the walls which many of the humans used as a ladder to reach the floor below.

Wordlessly, Elena and Mihiya descended down the metal framework until the reached the hard tile floor.

Elena rested her hands on her knees and tried to catch her breath. Months of scrounging and moving around the space station at mouse-level had improved her physical endurance, but a thirty meter climb could still leave her a bit winded.

“She’ll be leaving soon.” Mihiya reminded her. “We don’t have much time to get into her bag.”

Elena nodded and took a deep breath before standing straight again. “All right, I’m ready.”

Without another word the women made their way across the floor of Essni’s office and towards the oblivious Titan who was busily tapping away at the computer on her desk and, ostensibly, keeping an eye on the security of the Spaceport.

In no time at all, they had reached the foot of the monolithic handbag that they hoped would be their ticket to finding Andimem.

“All right.” Mihiya whispered tensely as she stared up the sheer cliff face of leather and silk. “Now what?”

Elena looked around furtively, seeking inspiration. Her face lit up into a triumphant grin as she spotted a likely prospect.

“The strap.” She said, nodding her head to the far side of the bag where the long leather band lay on the floor.

“Good enough.” Mihiya responded as the two of them quietly crept towards their goal.

Above them, Essni hummed idly to herself. She seemed completely oblivious to their presence and Elena hoped it would remain that way.

The climb wasn’t easy.  Their task wasn’t made any easier by the necessity of stealth, either. Nor by the fact that nothing about the bag’s shoulder strap was made to be climbed by humans; but it was also not the first time the two women had made use of unorthodox modes of ascension, as difficult as it was, climbing the bag was easier than the time they’d had to make their way up the side of a drainpipe soaked in condensation.

Elena, who was in front, found herself pausing roughly every thirty seconds to make sure that the enormous woman above them was still engaged in her task. Though it seemed like forever, eventually they reached the summit of the massive purse.

Now they just had to get the damn thing open.

Elena rubbed her forehead wearily. It seemed nothing would be easy for them. She resisted the urge to complain to Mihiya, not wanting Essni to accidentally overhear them.

Instead, Elena silently indicated the spot where the clasps were holding the bag shut. Through a mixture of gestures and guesswork, she explained to Mihiya what she wanted done. The two women into the space where the sides of the bag where being held shut by the snaps. They each braced their backs against one side and their feet on the other. After a three count, they both pushed as hard- and as quietly as they could. Elena gritted her teeth and felt the blood rush to her face as she pushed as hard as she could.

After about fifteen seconds, Elena’s legs shook from exertion and she had to stop, with Mihiya following suite a few seconds later.

Elena allowed them a brief respite to catch their breath, before signaling to Mihiya to begin again. After a few seconds in which the two of them felt their legs might just snap off, there was a sudden click and the purse snaps burst open.

Which caused the two of them to suddenly topple into the bags interior with a pair of startled yelps.

Fortunately, the interior of the bag was devoid of anything that might make for a painful landing. The women were a bit rattled by the sudden plummet, but otherwise unhurt.

Elena held her breath and listened intently for any sign that they’d been heard. After several second, during which Essni continued her work uninterrupted, Elena and Mihiya allowed themselves to relax slightly.

“Well…” Mihiya muttered apprehensively. “We did it.”

“Guess we’ll see if it was a good idea or not.” Elena replied.

“If it wasn’t, there’s not much we can do about it now.”

Sorry to dig up old chapters, but was Titan:Stray continued beyond this point? Only the Prologue through Chapter 7 are on the novel’s landing page/ToC, and I’ve advanced with Next Chapter arrows halfway through Titan:Birthright without seeing any other Stray chapters.

I know I haven’t commented before, so I wanted to thank the authors for writing into being this fantastic Titan universe. Love (or love to hate) every character you’ve written, and having read all the novels in the past 2 weeks I think I’m addicted. Working my way through all the stories and anthologies, and I’m so thankful for the effort put into fleshing out this universe.

(I can’t wait to see what happens next in Titan:Birthright)

Unfortunately I havent completed any more beyond this point. I really would like to, at some point. Fact of the matter is this is about the time I started dabbling in renders.

But thank you! I’m really glad you’ve been enjoying our stories.

Completely unrelated to this story, but couldn’t think of a place to post it: In pre-emancipation, were humans considered credible witnesses in criminal proceedings?

      Doubt it.

Darren was not asked to testify. Besides that, humans being considered animals were not subject to perjury charges should they lie. Part of credibility is that lying may produce bad consequences. Without the potential for perjury, you can’t trust anyone.

I don’t know what they do to stowaways but it can’t be any worse then what they do to the prisoners.

I do like seeing these early Titan/Human forced relationships. Poor Andimen probably doesn’t know what the hell to feel after that.

Well things are getting interesting, especially since the girls appear to be improvising. Something like at least a rope might have been good to have even if they don’t know what kind of cage he’s being kept in.
